StudiesI got the qualifications for my job in form of studying "Applied Linguistic and Cultural Studies" at Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz/FASK Germersheim, which was preceded by a degree in Germanic and English/American Literature and Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart.
Immediately after obtaining my diploma as "Graduated TransIator" in 2004 I was sworn for Greek language at the Regional Court of Karlsruhe and launched my own business.
True to the motto "You never stop learning" I am still using the principle of lifelong learning.
ExperienceI did my first translations during my studies, translations for acquaintances followed.
Since 2004 I am officially working as a freelance translator - and enjoy my profession very much!

Technical equipmentMy technical equipment is always up to date: I work with various translation memory systems that I apply customized.
My additional studies of "Computer Science" enable me to resolve technical problems in a very short time on myself.
